Learning-agency directory
EdTech · Directory / Marketplace
A vetted, subscription directory that helps education buyers find and compare learning agencies
An education-services company wanted a trusted place for education buyers to find learning agencies. Datics designed and built a members-only directory of vetted agencies with search and filters, shortlists, moderated discussion, admin tools and Stripe subscriptions, from scope to launch in six milestones.

The starting point
Buyers looking for curriculum developers, e-learning studios and training providers relied on unvetted directories, outdated contact lists and word of mouth.
What had to change
There was no quality control and no useful way to filter and compare agencies within education offerings, so shortlisting took too long and carried risk.
What couldn't break
Only vetted agencies could appear, every profile had to follow the same structure, member discussion had to stay moderated, and the directory had to resist scraping.
Why this was hard
A paid, moderated directory needs membership billing, role-based moderation, clean bulk data and anti-abuse controls all working together on day one.
What Datics changed
Datics built the full product: member sign-up with email verification and Stripe subscriptions or coupon codes; listings with search, multi-select filters and pagination; favourites with private notes; comments with a moderation queue and flagging; bulk agency upload with duplicate detection; public announcements; a feature-request form; an admin dashboard with metrics; and email notifications for renewals, comments, flags and billing events.
Scoped, designed and delivered in six weekly milestones from April to May 2025, with a regression cycle before launch and a round of client-requested changes in September 2025.
