AI consulting · Planning Sprint · 2 weeks · $5,000

AI consulting that ends in a shipped feature. Not a slide deck.

In two weeks we find the AI capabilities worth building in your product, what each one depends on and what it costs, and we hand you a fixed quote for the first one. The people doing the consulting are the people who build production AI.

Who it is for

Established products. An AI mandate. No wish to start over.

Our AI consulting is the Planning Sprint: two weeks, $5,000, for one established product, run by the engineers who would build what it recommends.

CTOs and product leaders

Of established software products with customers, data and an AI mandate from the board or the market, and no wish to start over.

Private equity portfolio companies

Operating partners who need a clear, priced AI plan for a portfolio product, and a team that can then build it.

AI for private equity

What you get

Four outputs. All about your product.

Each one is ready for your team or ours to act on. See a sample Planning Sprint, the EdTech sample sprint pack or the full Planning Sprint page.

Capability portfolio

The AI capabilities worth building in your product, ranked by value to your customers and by what each one takes.

Product and dependency map

Your architecture, data, integrations and permissions as they are today, and what each capability depends on.

Production readiness plan

What must be true before AI reaches customers: evaluation, security, cost per task and the changes your product needs, and nothing more.

First capability brief and fixed quote

The first capability defined well enough to build, with a fixed price. The sprint fee counts toward it.

Try it

Rank your own AI ideas.

Type the ideas on your list and score them. The sprint does this with your product's facts instead of a guess.

  2. 2. Reading uploaded documents
  3. 3. A chat assistant for customers

What the Planning Sprint checks for “Summaries of long records”

  • The data it needs, and where that data lives today
  • Whose permissions it must respect
  • How it is tested on your own cases
  • Its cost per task, and what in your product has to change

Your own guess. The sprint replaces it with your product's facts.

A different kind of AI consulting

The people who plan it. Then build it.

A strategy deck tells you what could be done. The Planning Sprint tells you what to build first in your product, what it depends on and what it costs.

Traditional consulting

A view of what could be done.

  • What it is based onInterviews and workshops
  • Who does the workConsultants, then a separate build team
  • What it costsOpen-ended fees

Someone still has to turn it into software.

Already built AI?

Start with the AI Scorecard.

It tests the feature you built on 50 of your own cases and ranks what to fix before it reaches every customer. $5,000, two weeks, and the fee counts toward production.

Know the outcome already?

Forward deployed engineers.

Skip the plan. Our engineer joins your team and owns one agreed outcome until it is live, starting with a one-week, $2,500 Outcome Sprint.

Not sure which start fits?

Four questions, and we show the start that fits your product, with what it costs.

  1. 01Is your product live, with customers using it?
  2. 02Have you already built an AI feature or agent?
  3. 03Do you know the outcome you need?
  4. 04Do you have engineers who would work alongside ours?

Four questions

Find the right way to start.

Answer all four and we show the start that fits your product, with what it costs. Your answers go with your booking, so the call starts where you are.

Plan first

When the thinking came first, it set the build.

Six engagements where we studied the product or reviewed the work before building, and what that changed.

Automotive and dealerships

Coast Technology

A plan to merge three legacy dealer databases into one, then the foundation built on that plan.

How it ran

  • A dedicated discovery phase on Coast's databases and code before any build sprint
  • Schema, ingestion and scheduling first, as the plan set out
  • The first dealer report delivered for review within two sprints
The plan set the buildCase study

Financial services

Peret

A short review of an inherited AI product before any new spend, then the launch work it called for.

How it ran

  • The existing work verified first, at the founder's request
  • What works, what is broken and what to fix before launch, in writing
  • The budget went into launch blockers, not a rebuild
Every milestone deliveredCase study

Marketing and media

SenTrac

A paid discovery that set the reports, metrics and designs before any engineering began.

How it ran

  • Chosen after the founder ran the same paid discovery with several agencies
  • Naming, grouping and metric definitions agreed in the prototype
  • Then two-week sprints, with the founder's feedback logged from week one
All five milestones completeCase study

Automotive and dealerships

Coast Technology

A dealer sales assistant, steered by a review of competing tools and a staged rollout we recommended.

How it ran

  • Competing dealer chat tools reviewed, then the assistant audited against them
  • A few live dealerships first, before scaling
  • The audit shaped the next proposals: lead scoring and memory across visits

Construction

OCCI

An assessment of its Microsoft Copilot agent on live job cost data, with every answer checked against SQL.

How it ran

  • Inside OCCI's own Microsoft tenant, on its real setup
  • Its limits traced to one fix in the database
  • The next step agreed with the people who own the reports

B2B software

Amove

A proposal, diagrams and three scope revisions for a Slack assistant, before any code was written.

How it ran

  • Scope in writing, then daily scrums against a milestone plan
  • Tested by Amove in its own Slack, with a review sheet
  • Asked to continue toward a beta

Questions

AI consulting, answered.

See how we work from the first call to production, or AI integration services.

How is Datics different from other AI consulting firms?

A large AI consulting firm usually ends with a strategy deck, then hands the build to someone else. Our consulting is a two-week Planning Sprint run by the people who build production AI, and it ends with a plan for your product and a fixed quote for the first capability.

How soon can the Planning Sprint start?

The Planning Sprint starts within a week of booking.

What do your AI consulting services include?

A two-week Planning Sprint for one product that ends with four outputs: a ranked capability portfolio, a product and dependency map, a production readiness plan, and a brief and fixed quote for the first capability. It is $5,000, and the fee counts toward the first build.

What do we need to prepare for the Planning Sprint?

Access to the product, its architecture and documentation, and a few hours from the people who know it. If you have ideas, customer requests or a board mandate for AI, bring them. We do the rest of the work.

Who from our team takes part?

Usually a product owner and a technical lead, for a kickoff, a few working sessions and the final readout. Their time is mostly spent answering questions about how the product works today.

What if we only have an idea, not a plan?

That is the most common start. The sprint turns a broad AI mandate into ranked capabilities with what each needs and what it costs, so you can decide what to build first with real numbers.

Do we have to build with Datics afterwards?

No. The plan, the dependency map and the readiness plan are yours. If you build with us, the sprint fee counts toward the first capability; if you build it yourselves, you start with a clear plan.

What happens if we build with you?

The people who planned it build it, in your code and cloud, in two-week sprints at the fixed quote from the readout. We own the delivery, the quote does not change within the agreed scope, and every capability comes with a two-week warranty after release.

Can you review AI we already built instead?

Yes. The AI Scorecard tests an AI feature you already built on 50 of your own cases and ranks what to fix before it reaches every customer. It is $5,000 for two weeks, and the fee counts toward production.

Have an AI mandate and no plan yet?

Show us the product. In 30 minutes you will know what the Planning Sprint would look at and what you would have at the end of it.
